I'm a cognitive scientist interested in brains of all kinds. I research learning and decision-making in animals, mostly by having humans do tasks for money. I try to find out if and what algorithm can describe how they learned - we call this behavioural modelling. Might be able to improve artificial intelligence if we find something cool.
Apart from work, I've dabbled in physical activities such as rock climbing and aikido. I also enjoy teaching Python and writing tutorials, essays and stories.
